Gas Cooking Hob 2 Burners - Burny Cristal - CAN

The Burny Cristal from CAN is a built-in 2-burner gas stove with a black tempered glass cooking surface, designed for the fitting of vans, camper vans, motorhomes, and boats.

With thermocouple safety, approved to CE standards.

This 2-burner stove with a decidedly modern design will create a hot spot (kitchen area) in your van or boat.

High-quality manufacturing equipment, this CAN stove features a beautifully designed tempered glass surface.

CAN is a European specialist, based in Italy, in cooking surface solutions for mobile applications.

Long in shape, this 2-burner gas hob has been specially developed for kitchens where the worktop is deep.

High-quality manufacturing equipment for boats and motorhomes, the CAN stove offers a modern design with its tempered glass surface.

The power of the burners at 1750 W and 3000 W will allow you to achieve cooking quality identical to that at home.

For added safety, the stove is equipped with a thermocouple valve that will automatically stop the gas flow.

Very easy to install, this boat and van accessory sits on the worktop: the dimensions required for installation are L 480 x W 280 x D 80 mm. For connection to the gas network.

Is the stove approved for installation inside my van or boat?

This equipment is specifically manufactured for the fitting of vans, camper vans, boats, and motorhomes.

Equipped with thermocouple safety features and burner caps fixed to both burners, it complies with European gas standards for installation indoors.

With its CE certification, it is suitable for VASP approval.

Note that if you wish to install the unit in a boat, the pot holder (not visible in the photo) is included in the cooking surface, and you will need to order the CAN pot holder separately.

How is the stove installed on the worktop?

The installation on the worktop is done by embedding it; you need to prepare a hole of 480 x 280 mm, and then the fixing is done by gluing with sealant.

For installation, allow a minimum of 55 mm between the wall opposite the stove and 100 mm on the side to avoid burning the walls and to easily place your utensils.

What should be considered for the gas connection of the stove?

For gas supply, this stove is CE approved for butane (28 - 30 mBar), GPL (30 mBar), and propane (30 - 37 mBar), and is therefore also suitable if, like many, you have CAMPINGAZ gas bottles (R901, R904, or R907).

Under the cooking surface, there is a gas inlet connection RST 8 mm, which means a reinforced stainless steel pipe with a diameter of 8 mm (outer) designed to receive an RSV 8 mm connection.

An RSV connection is a double cone connection whose sealing is achieved via an olive by compressing the pipe and the olive.

As the gas inlet pipe of the stove is reinforced, there is no need to add a crush-resistant sleeve.
