CAMINO-108 is the class B AIS transponder next generation from AMEC, allowing you to transmit your data to other ships equipped with AIS, and receive their data via a card reader or a PC, in order to create a collision avoidance system.

CAMINO-108 has been designed to provide the solution of a high-performance AIS transponder. The Camino 108 is optimized to be more compact and robust, and now takes up half the size of the previous generation. The integrated 50 channel GPS for indoors with 3 meters of cable will provide the precise position of our vessel (passive antenna optional)

The dual channel receivers allow for the monitoring of vessels with a transponder including class A, class B, AtoN, SART.

Its NMEA2000, NMEA0183 and waterproof USB ports ensure simple integration with trackers and PCs. The housing for an SD card facilitates the recording of AIS data.
