The Aqualung LEG3ND DIN Diving Regulator is engineered for divers who prioritize exceptional performance and reliability. It shares the same breathing characteristics as the LEG3ND ELITE and LEG3ND MBS models, ensuring consistent and effortless breathing across all variants. The regulator features an updated ergonomic Venturi adjustment switch, overmolded with a "soft touch" elastomer, allowing precise control over the Venturi effect to prevent freeflow.

Key Features

First Stage:

  • Auto Closure Device (ACD): Automatically shuts the inlet when disconnected from a cylinder valve, protecting internal components from contaminants and corrosive water. This feature helps maintain oxygen compatibility, preserves internal lubrication, and keeps the inlet filter clean and dry.
  • Permanent Dry Chamber: Isolates internal parts from the external environment, enhancing freeze resistance during cold-water dives.
  • De-Ice Technology: Deep ribs create a large heat exchange surface area, preventing ice formation on the mechanism. The overmolded cap delays ice formation over the external diaphragm.
  • Over-Balanced Mechanism: Automatically adjusts the working pressure to counteract increased breathing air density with depth, providing effortless breathing from start to finish.
  • Balanced Diaphragm: Ensures superior and consistent performance.
  • Blue High-Pressure Seat: Forms a perfect seal with durable materials, working in all conditions and with all gases.
  • Dust Cap Protection: Attached to the regulator body, it protects the inlet fitting and ACD system from impacts and damage.
  • DIN and Yoke Screws: Ergonomically shaped with a bi-material "Soft Grip" surface, providing a better hold during installation or removal, especially with cold hands.
  • HP/MP Ports: Perfectly positioned to provide optimal hose routing.

Second Stage:

  • Cover Opening Channels: Allow water to flow sideways over the diaphragm, preventing freeflows in strong currents and reducing cracking effort by 20%.
  • Air Channel Deflector: Streamlined bi-material component directs air flow evenly through the second stage, lowering exhalation effort.
  • Venturi Adjustment Switch: Allows precise control over the air flow, with positions to minimize or maximize valve assistance. The overmolded elastomer and ergonomic design enable control even while wearing gloves.
  • Pneumatically Balanced: Ensures smooth and easy breathing at all depths.
  • Heat Exchanger: Prevents ice formation on the valve inlet.
  • Overmolded Air Purge: Wide surface area facilitates easier purging.
  • Overmolded Exhaust Cover: Made of elastomer with a "soft touch" effect, providing protection.
  • ComfoBite™ Mouthpiece: Reduces jaw fatigue and secures the second stage comfortably.
  • Interchangeable Mouthpiece: Detachable and reusable clamp allows quick, tool-free mouthpiece changes without plastic waste.
  • Aqua Flex Hose: Flexible and lightweight with dual protectors, reducing the pulling effect on the mouthpiece.
