The Aqualung Helix Pro Octopus is a pneumatically balanced second stage regulator designed to provide smooth and easy breathing at all depths. It features a patented heat exchanger that surrounds the valve mechanism, dissipating the cold caused by gas expansion while drawing in the warmth of the ambient water, making it suitable for cold-water diving. The easy-to-grip venturi lever prevents unwanted free flow at the surface and provides a performance boost at depth. The octopus is equipped with a 1-meter (39-inch) high-visibility yellow hose and a yellow front cover for easy identification in emergency situations. It is compatible with Nitrox up to 40% Oâ‚‚ when new, out of the box. The silicone mouthpiece with ergonomic bite wings reduces jaw fatigue and securely holds the second stage in place. The regulator weighs 186 grams (without the hose) and is designed and made in France.
