It is made of tough stainless-steel. It has a length of 3.54in, a width of 0.94in and height of 2.95in. Flexible actuators are ideal in applications where guard alignment is difficult to maintain, such as doors which are affected by sagging. This type of actuator allows slight movement within a 15° angle to enable entry into the switch. It should be permanently fixed to the guard door.This actuator is used with the Atlas 5 heavy-duty interlock switch to ensure safe-access to machinery and dangerous areas. The Atlas 5 keeps a guard door securely locked until the power supply is removed and isolates the power while the door is open.
