Allen Bradley Guardmaster TLS-GD2, Escape Release Safety Switch. The TLS-GD2 Series Safety Switches with Escape Release option are specially designed for machine guarding with full body access. They provide essential protection for personnel trapped in unsafe areas. These switches have a high locking force of 2000N (450lb) for superior guard stability and security. They also have Five contacts: 2NC 1NO for door position monitoring, 1NC 1NO for lock monitoring. How it works: This interlock switch is installed so that the escape release push button on the rear side is easily accessible from inside the hazardous area. It allows intentional unlocking of the TLS-GD2 from inside a dangerous area, offering a means of escape for a person who may become trapped. Approvals:.
