Allen Bradley Guardmaster 440G-LZS21SPLH Solenoid Interlock SwitchEnsure maximum safety for personnel and keep machine guards fully secured with the 440G-LZS21SPLH Solenoid Interlock Switch by Allen Bradley Guardmaster. This advanced safety switch is expertly designed for use on partial body access guard doors. It ensures that the machine guard can only be released when machinery has come to complete stop, restricting access to unsafe areas. The high-tech 440G-LZ switch has efficient microprocessor technology with an RFID coded actuator, and it features a secure locking bolt drive mechanism that only locks when it detects the correct actuator. It holds the highest level of safety for door position and lock monitoring as it is TÜV certified to Ple, Cat. 4 (EN/ISO 13849-1). It uses only 2.5W, making it a highly energy-efficient green switch. The compact design of this guard-locking safety switch allows application flexibility and ease-of-mounting, saving you valuable time. The 440G-LZ also supports both hinged and sliding doors with four directions of approach. The 440G-LZS21SPLH switch Power-to-Lock functionality, an RFID standard actuator (low level), and a 6-inch pigtail with M12 8-Pin Quick Disconnect connector. Solenoid voltage is 24 V dc. It has a high holding force of 1300N (292 lbs), offering excellent safety guard security and stability. The safety contacts are 2 x PNP (0.2A max), auxiliary contact is 1 x PNP (0.2A max). The operating temperature is 0°C and 55°C. This unit has monitored outputs and highly-visible LED diagnostics to help minimise downtime.Features and Benefits:• Reliable Type 4 interlocking unit with guard locking per ISO 14119 with low coded RFID actuator • Highly energy efficient due to bi-stable solenoid design and advanced algorithms, which ensure that it uses up to 60% less power compared to competitive switches • Hygienic design and high IP69K rating - dust-tight and can withstand powerful jets of water • 270 degree wrap-around LEDs for fast diagnostics and troubleshooting, positioned on the front corners of the housing • Certified to PLe to ISO 13849-1 (both for barrier position and lock monitoring to ISO 14119) • Convenient QR code on product links directly to on-line user manualApplications:Food and beverage Pharmaceutical Semiconductor industriesCertifications:IEC 60947-5-3 IEC 60947-5-1 IEC 61508 EN ISO 13849-1 IEC 62061 ISO 14119 UL 508 IP69K rated CE certified cULus approved TÜV certified C-tick certifiedRockwell Automation is a global leader in industrial automation and digital transformation, and brings smart manufacturing to life. With a long legacy of creating Allen-Bradley® integrated control and information solutions, we help make you as productive as possible. Our portfolio of sensing, safety and motor control products can support your move towards smart machine applications. Allen-Bradley® IO-Link sensors are data-enabled and communicate with all field buses, providing diagnostic and health information about the device before a machine stops, and enabling quick production changeovers through fast parameter downloads from PLCs into the device. This reduces machine downtime and increases manufacturing OEE. For safety components, products with built-in diagnostics simplify the set-up of the smart device, and reduce maintenance, leading to a more efficient, machine data-driven approach. What are Solenoid Interlock Switches?A solenoid interlock switch is a type of safety switch with an internal solenoid; a wire coil which converts electrical energy to mechanical. This type of mechanism limits access to dangerous areas where machinery may be functioning by ensuring that that barriers remain securely shut. The safety guard can only be opened through either energising (Power to Release) or de-energising (Power to Lock) the solenoid with an external signal. They are often used in industrial environments, for example with high inertia rotating machines.
