The3M 425 aluminium tape 50mm x 55mis made of an extra soft aluminium backing (alloy 1145-0) and a transparent acrylic adhesive. The tape can be easily cut to specific dimensions or shapes. The aluminium tape is suitable for long-term indoor or outdoor applications. It is characterised by a very low water vapour transmission rate, making it an effective sealing solution. It can also be used as masking in the field of electroplating as it does not contaminate the baths.
