installation precautions:
make sure you are using the provided flat power cable and do not plug the round power adapter directly into the top control unit. the flat power cable connects to the "dc 12 v" terminal. do not connect the round power plug to the "ext fan" terminal. if connected incorrectly the fan may continue to operate even after reaching the target humidity.
