The fibreglass tape is nylon coated to reduce friction and jamming and to make sure it wont abrade existing wiring or plastic conduits. Its housed in an impact-resistant case with a durable non-slip handle. The handle is oversized so you can grip it easily, even with a gloved hand. The tape is 15 m long, with a 3/16 in wire diameter. Its also non-conductive, so it can be safely used when working near energised installations. This draw wire is part of the stringently tested RS PRO range. It meets ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 Electrostatic Control Standards.
