Packaging:

  • 5 kg kit: 3.57 kg epoxy resin + 1.43 kg hardener
  • 10 kg kit: 7.14 kg epoxy resin + 2.86 kg hardener

Application advice:

  1. Substrate preparation: substrates must be clean, dry and free of dust, oil, grease, curing compound, moisture, loose or crumbly parts, etc.
  2. Optional steps: Use our POXYFIRST primer for very porous substrates. For steel and aluminium, the substrate must be prepared by sandblasting to at least SA 2.5 degree of care.
  3. Pour all the hardener (comp.B) into the resin container (comp.A) (they are supplied pre-dosed), then mix for 2 to 3 minutes at a speed of 400 rpm using an electric agitator.
  4. Apply the mixture to the surface using a roller. Leave to dry for approximately 16 hours, then apply a second coat.

If you don't need the full kit, you can use a precision balance to divide it up. For example, 100 g resin to 40 g hardener.

Consumption:

Approximately 0.400 kg/m² per coat, but may vary depending on the porosity and roughness of the substrate.
