The Ultra DX is particularly suited for all drop rigs (drop shot, tataki, branko), both from the shore and from a boat.

These turluttes are floating and your rig has a terminal weight, so they will always be positioned above the bottom, thus limiting unwanted snags. This turlutte will tend to rise during pauses and descend to the level where it is hooked when you make a pull. Similarly, the slightest current will make the side feathers move, which will emit micro vibrations.
The lure is thus always in motion, even when stationary.
