It is ideal for the shallowest areas, like large flats, as its high rod allows it to pass through the water's surface. In terms of animation, we recommend a simple linear retrieve interspersed with a few light twitches. It is excellent for covering a lot of ground quickly but is also very useful for discreet pitching under the rod. Its swimming action is straight and stable, allowing you to get very close to covers and rocks. Its vibrations are quite subtle, which is an advantage for salmonids that are often spooked by overly intense wobbling.
