Reinforced Polyester Putty - Cabesto

The reinforced polyester putty, also known as sauerkraut,  is a putty loaded with glass fibre, suitable for fillings that require mechanical strength.

It has good adhesion to laminates, metal, and wood and has low shrinkage, but is not suitable for parts constantly exposed to water. 

This glass fibre-loaded putty can be applied in one or more layers.

The surface must be clean, dry, free of grease, and sanded. 

Application Tips

Mix  2 to 3% of BPO hardener and then apply. 

Working time: approximately 5 minutes at 20°C. 

Heat accelerates curing. 

The treated part can be sanded after 20 minutes. 

The reinforced putty remains tacky and requires finishing with the Polyester Finishing Putty.

The storage life at 20°C is 12 months  in the original packaging.
