Epoxy Repair Kit - Above And Below The Waterline

The epoxy repair kit allows you to carry out small quick and waterproof repairs.

It allows you to bond, reinforce, and seal.

It can be applied to wood, metal, polyester, stone, and of course, epoxy.

It is also ideal for repairing surfboards, paddles, windsurfing boards made of ASA, ABS, epoxy, and polyester (not suitable for polyethylene).

This kit contains epoxy resin that can be used for bonding without fiberglass, a glass fabric strip for high-strength laminates or reinforcements, a filler agent for preparing a coating or putty, as well as sandpaper.

• Colour: colourless
• Mixing ratio: 100: 60 parts by weight
• Shelf life at 20°C: approx. 30 minutes
• Curing time at 20°C: minimum 24 hours
• Viscosity of the mixture at 20°C: approx. 900 mPa.s

The recommended application temperature is +20°C, ideal for the substrate and the resin.

In any case, a minimum temperature of +10°C is required.

For bonding, carefully clean and degrease the area to be repaired or the contact surfaces and make them rough.

Thoroughly mix the resin with the hardener in the indicated proportions.

If you are using pure resin without fiberglass or filler, you need to use a sufficiently large mixing container as the product foams due to the reaction temperature. If necessary, cool the container in a water bath.
