Usage:
- Hold the hook setter in your left hand. Place the hook in its clamp by tightening the locking nut between your thumb and index finger. Excessive tightening is unnecessary.
- Orient the hook setter with the rider in the high position. Wrap the line around the back part and then back around the front part.
- Rotate the hook setter in your hand (generally: 5 turns). Keep the line taut during the winding.
- While keeping the line taut, pass it through the open front part of the rider.
- Push the rider down by pressing on the front part with your left thumb. While maintaining this position, pull on the line coming from the spool.
- Loosen the locking nut and pull again on the line coming from the spool to release the assembly. Cut off the excess line.
