The Blue Smart IP67 battery charger is the wireless solution for monitoring voltage and current, adjusting settings, and updating the charger when new features are available. With Bluetooth, the functionality of the IP67 charger is enhanced and similar to that of our IP22 and IP65 chargers.

The Blue Power IP67 charger is fully encapsulated: resistant to water, shocks, and fire.

Water, oil, or dust will not damage the Blue Power IP67 charger. The casing is made of cast aluminium and the electronic components are moulded with resin.

Start interruption

Models with the suffix (1+Si) feature a second limited current output that is always powered as long as a voltage of 180 – 265 VAC is present at the output. For example, this output can be used to prevent the starting of a vehicle before disconnecting the battery charger (start interruption function).

An unmatched level of efficiency!

A new industrial standard is set: with an efficiency of 92% or more, these chargers waste three to four times less heat. And once the battery is fully charged, energy consumption is reduced to less than one Watt, nearly five to ten times better than industrial standards.

4-stage adaptive charging algorithm: bulk – absorption – float – storage

The Blue Power Charger includes an "adaptive" charge management system controlled by a microprocessor. The "adaptive" function automatically optimises the charging process according to how the battery is used.

Less maintenance and aging when the battery is not in use: standby mode

The standby mode activates when the battery has not been used for 24 hours. In standby mode, the float voltage is reduced to 2.2 V / cell (13.2 V for a 12 V battery) to minimise gassing and corrosion of the positive plates. Once a week, the voltage is raised to the absorption level to "equalise" the battery. This function prevents electrolyte stratification and sulfation, major causes of premature battery aging.

Overheating protection

Usable in a hot environment such as an engine room. The output current will reduce if the temperature rises to 60ºC, but the charger will not fail.
