The Speedy Carbonium antifouling is a two-component hard matrix solution designed for racing boats.

Thanks to the use of carbon as an active component, this paint offers exceptional glide without neglecting protection against marine organisms.

Its quick drying allows for the application of two coats in one day, and the smooth film obtained can be sanded for an extra-smooth finish.

Suitable for fiberglass, wood, steel, and aluminium hulls, the Speedy Carbonium is available in black and grey.

Technical Information:

Application of the Paint

For optimal application of the Speedy Carbonium antifouling paint, follow these steps:

• Prepare the surface by thoroughly cleaning and degreasing.
• Apply a suitable primer coat, Adherpox.
• Mix components A and B of the paint until a homogeneous consistency is achieved.
• Apply the paint with a spray gun, brush, or roller for perfect uniformity, diluting up to 5-10% with thinner 6470 if necessary.
• Apply two to three coats, respecting an overcoating time of 4 hours between each coat.
• Sand the surface with P600 wet abrasive paper to achieve an ultra-smooth finish.
