The Tohatsu 4-Stroke Outboard Engine - 6 HP is a quality engine that offers optimal propulsion for your boat.

This engine features an easy start system, electronic ignition, an idle adjustment, and an aluminium propeller.

It is equipped with a connection outlet to attach to the included 12L fuel tank, a water cooling system, and a overheating protection system.

The Tohatsu 4-Stroke Outboard Engine - 6 HP is designed to be easy to transport, install, and maintain.

It is compatible with dinghies, small boats, sailboats, and small yachts (long shaft model).

It guarantees you safe, comfortable, and eco-friendly navigation.

 

The 6 HP is lightweight and compact, featuring a large oil reservoir for optimal lubrication, and it generates little noise thanks to its 4-stroke technology.

Its trim is adjustable in 6 positions.

The cooling circuit is coated with a zinc treatment to resist corrosion. This is controlled by a thermostat to maintain a constant engine temperature.

The water pump housing is made of stainless steel for greater longevity.

 

It comes complete with a 12-litre fuel tank, fittings, a kill switch, and has an oil pressure alarm.

CONSIDERING THE QUALITY AND ROBUSTNESS OF THE ENGINES, TOHATSU FRANCE HAS NOW DECIDED TO EXTEND THE ENGINE WARRANTY TO 7 YEARS FOR RECREATIONAL USE*.

A Lightweight and Compact Engine

The Tohatsu 4T 6HP engine has been designed to reduce its bulk and facilitate transport. It features two carrying handles at the front and rear that allow you to lift it easily. Its cover has been redesigned to give it a sleek and modern appearance.

3 Position Storage

It can be stored in 3 different positions without the risk of oil leakage: lying down, sideways to the left, or to the right.

Gear Lever Mounted at the Front

The new gear lever mounted at the front, a first in the industry in its category, allows for better maneuverability. It also features a trim adjustable in 6 positions that lets you adapt the engine thrust to the navigation conditions. It is equipped with a rotating throttle handle that allows you to control the engine speed precisely.

An Environmentally Friendly Engine

The Tohatsu 4T 6HP engine is environmentally friendly. It meets EPA and CARB 3-Star emission standards that limit the release of polluting gases. It consumes little fuel and oil, which reduces your ecological impact and maintenance costs.
