OPERATION

The SLC is the assembly of a stainless steel cord cutter with a high-quality protection anode.

The blades of the cord cutter have been treated and tested to achieve the best possible efficiency.

From the moment of installation, the SLC anode will effectively protect your shaft.

Over time, the anode will lose material, and it will be your responsibility to replace it during the regular maintenance of your boat to maintain maximum protection.

INSTALLATION

No need to be a professional to install your SLC cord cutter/anode assembly.

Designed in 2 parts, the assembly mounts on the shaft without having to remove the propeller.

Ensure that the contact surfaces between the shaft and the anode are clean, tighten the anode firmly around the shaft, and do not hesitate to adjust it twice to compress it well onto the shaft.

The diameter of your SLC has been calculated to ensure a good fit on the shaft and to prevent it from rotating around it.

The SLC is generally installed between the propeller and the shaft seat or just outside the stern tube.
