ThisSIKA SikaGrout 217 sealing mortar is ideal for anchoring bolts, concrete rebar, railway tracks, or precision sealing of equipment subject to shocks or vibrations. This product is also suitable for the bedding of turbines, alternators, compressors, generators, machine tools, beams, or support structures for bridge decks. As well as for the keying of prefabricated metal elements in reinforced concrete or pre-stressed concrete. After mixing with water, a fluid consistency mortar is obtained.

• Sikagrout-217 is free from chlorides and metallic particles that oxidise upon contact with moisture. It protects steel from corrosion due to its alkaline pH.
• Possible contact with drinking water (CLP)
• It exhibits very high mechanical strengths in compression and bending.
• It is shrinkage compensated. A controlled expansion system occurs after the mortar is placed and compensates for the effects of both the initial and secondary shrinkage.
• Its adhesion is excellent on concrete, mortar, and steel. It ensures a monolithic bond and resists shocks and vibrations.
• It is not affected by significant variations in humidity or temperature; it is resistant to water and oil.
• It withstands seawater and sulfate waters.
• It has good internal frost resistance and flaking resistance.
• It can be mixed with aggregates to create thick or high-volume bedding and sealing (outside the scope of the NF brand).
