The NIGHTMARE finish of the ARES DX SALVIMAR crossbow offers you more powerful PRIMELINE Ø 14 mm black bands than the original bands of the ARES, as well as a Ø 7 mm shaft with a heavier impact on your biggest catches.
To put it simply, the ARES NIGHTMARE DX is a crossbow optimized for catching larger and more difficult fish "to pass" with a standard crossbow.
The ARES NIGHTMARE DX SALVIMAR crossbow features a tube with a faceted elliptical shape and a full-length shaft guide, taking the concept from the HERO SALVIMAR crossbow but in ultra-light aluminium here... Lighter and more laterally mobile than the HERO, the ARES NIGHTMARE DX SALVIMAR crossbow is as light as a feather and ultra-precise thanks to its shaft with a centered notch on the top of the heel: the shaft automatically positions itself at the centre of the reversed stainless steel mechanism and remains centred and aligned on the full-length shaft guide, even when the bands are drawn. The shaft no longer "moves" in the mechanism of the ARES NIGHTMARE DX crossbow.
The ARES NIGHTMARE DX crossbow comes with 2 Ø 14 mm PRIMELINE black bands: Natural latex bands of the highest quality produced by Primeline Industries in the U.S.A, offering very high performance.
The stainless steel shaft is a BOLT Ø 7 mm with a single reversed notch and 3 attachment fins. This "thick" diameter allows for great inertia and better penetration of "thick" fish. The shaft of the ARES NIGHTMARE DX crossbow is short at the head to keep the Hawaiian notch closed during the movement of the crossbow.
The mechanism of the ARES NIGHTMARE DX is entirely made of stainless steel, including the trigger and the line release (reversible right/left). The sensitivity of the trigger is adjustable.
The stock of the ARES NIGHTMARE DX crossbow features a 4 mm stainless steel fixing ring and an ergonomic RIGHT-HANDED ONLY grip here for better handling.
