Product Description
The biosourced CCR epoxy resin from Entropy Resins, specially designed for artistic applications and hobbies such as jewellery making, inlays, and thick coatings.
It is as clear as water, UV resistant, and has a low viscosity.
It is suitable for all experience levels, both for professionals and beginners.
Choice of Hardeners
- CCS (Slow: curing in 72 hours) ideal for thick castings, reduces the risk of overheating as well as bubbles.
- CCF (Fast: curing in 24 hours) for small projects such as resin jewellery making and others.
Key Benefits and Areas of Application
- Versatility: the CCR resin is suitable for a wide range of applications, from jewellery to furniture such as river tables and other decorative elements.
- Eco-friendly: Developed with Super Sap technology from renewable raw materials sourced from co-products or waste from other industrial processes, Entropy Resins' CCR epoxy resin contains 30% biosourced components and is certified by the USDA Certified BioBased Product label.
- Crystal-clear transparency: the CCR epoxy guarantees exceptional clarity, essential for applications that require maximum transparency. Its low viscosity facilitates bubble-free pouring for a smooth, flawless finish.
- UV protection: its formula is UV resistant, helping to maintain the transparency of objects to prevent yellowing. Thanks to this property, your creations retain their brilliance even when placed outdoors.

Usage Advice
- For best results, measure the correct mixing ratio of the two components by weight.
- Always mix the product thoroughly for at least 2 minutes, scraping all surfaces of the container to ensure a homogeneous mixture.
- Use the product in a temperature-controlled environment within the optimal limits for product use. Avoid cold ambient temperatures or high humidity.
- For optimal curing performance, ensure that surfaces are dry and free of all dirt, debris, and/or oil. Surface preparation by sanding is strongly recommended.
- For wooden substrates, it is recommended to impregnate the substrate with a thin layer of resin/hardener.
- Conduct preliminary tests with the materials and processes being considered to understand the curing characteristics of the resin in your working environment and its compatibility with other materials.
- Beware of humidity and water as the resin may become opaque. Use a heat gun if necessary.
Demonstration Video
CCR is a low-viscosity, water-clear, UV-resistant epoxy resin designed specifically for casting and moulding applications. Its low viscosity allows bubble-free and crystalline casting, ideal for artistic and leisure applications. The system features two cure rates: slow (CCS) for high density casting resin applications and fast (CCF) for fast casting resin applications for small projects, such as resin jewellery and others. CCS is a USDA BioPreferred certified product with a 30% biobase content. Use: jewellery, thick coatings, castings. Density: fast: 250g/231ml for a maximum thickness of 62mm / slow: 1000g/935ml for a maximum thickness of 100mm. Working temperature: between 15°C and 25°C.
