Product Description

5mm wide, 2mm thick self-adhesive joint backing made of polypropylene, very easy to implement.

• Saves/reduces the amount of caulking sealant to be used.
• Suitable for 4mm and 5mm joints.
• To be used if your groove depth is equal to or greater than 8mm, allowing the joint not to adhere to the bottom of the groove and to work face to face. This increases the flexibility and elongation of the joint.
• Adhesion on three sides limits the movement capacity of a joint before it breaks. That is why we recommend applying a joint backing at the base of each groove, so that the joint simply works on the face of the slats and independently of the bottom of the groove.

Sold in packs of 5 rolls, totalling 45m of joint backing.
