WEST SYSTEM Mini Repair Kit

WEST SYSTEM mini repair kit in a practical format. Repair kit containing a selection of different products to carry out small repairs on boats, in the workshop or at home.

This pack contains:

  • 250g of resin 105
  • 50g of hardener 205 (fast hardener)
  • Filler 403 (microfiber, thickening additive)
  • 407 filler (low density filler)
  • 3 graduated beakers
  • 2 pairs of gloves
  • 2 syringes
  • Instructions for use

Product Details

Resin 105Light yellow transparent liquid epoxy resin with low viscosity. Allows to impregnate wood, fiberglass and a variety of metals. Excellent resistance to moisture. Fills holes and voids when thickened with fillers. Can be sanded and shaped once cured. Does not give off strong solvent odors or fumes.
Rapid Hardener 205Allows rapid curing. Mixed with 105 resin, produces a rigid, high strength solid.
Filler 403A blend of cellulosic cotton fiber used as a thickening additive for bonding applications. Off-white color.
Filler 407Low density filler. The 407 filler with microbeads is generally used to make a profiling and surfacing coating. Easy to sand.

Curing Information

  • Pot life at 25°C: 10 to 15 minutes
  • Curing to solid at 21°C: 5 to 7 hours
  • Curing to maximum strength at 21°C: 5 to 7 days
  • Minimum recommended working temperature: 5°C
