PROTECVARNISH

The PROTECVARNISH is a glossy, polyurethane, single-component varnish designed to protect and enhance wooden surfaces as well as powdery cement. It can be used indoors and outdoors, acting as a vitrification.

It penetrates deeply, consolidates the substrates, and provides a glossy finish that enhances the natural elegance of the materials.

• Protects and beautifies old wood floors and stairs against wear and scratches.
• Ideal for furniture, ensuring a smooth and stain-resistant finish.

Consumption:

• For a primer coat: 150 to 200 g/m².
• For a surface treatment: (apply 3 coats) 150 to 200 g/m² per coat, as needed.

Mixing preparation and application:

1. Ensure that surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, or grease.
2. Shake the container for 1 minute before use.
3. Treatment of a cement floor: apply 2 to 3 coats of varnish, allowing each coat to dry before applying the next.
4. Treatment of rotten wood: apply the product by soaking or impregnation until refusal for optimal penetration.

Application conditions and storage:

• Application temperature: 5°C to 35°C.
• Humidity rate: must be less than or equal to 5% for concrete, and 8% for wood and chipboard.
• Humidity: 40% to 85%.
• Storage: 15°C to 25°C.
• Shelf life: 12 months.

Main application:

Protection and finishing of concrete floors, waxed concrete, and can also be used as a dust repellent. Single-component varnish with good UV resistance and high wear resistance. It allows for exceptional hardening of porous materials. Its final appearance is shiny.

Preparation of mixtures:

Shake the container for 1 minute before using the product.

Consumption:

Very variable according to the porosity of the substrate, it can be covered with a matt varnish.
