The POXYFIRST
The POXYFIRST is a two-component epoxy resin designed for the protection and finishing of stone carpets and semi-smooth floors in coloured quartz.
Main uses:
- Ideal for homes
- Offices
- Showrooms
Colour:
Colourless
Packaging:
- 5 kg kit: 3.33 kg of component A + 1.67 kg of component B
- 10 kg kit: 6.66 kg of component A + 3.34 kg of component B
- 15 kg kit: 10 kg of component A + 5 kg of component B
Key benefits:
- Continuous, joint-free, and non-shrink coating.
- Waterproof
- Resistance to wear, abrasion, acids, bases, and UV.
Consumption:
- For a stone carpet, with 4 mm aggregates: 25 kg of aggregates for 1.8 m² and a thickness of 9 mm.
- For a semi-smooth coating: 0.600 to 0.700 kg/m².
Technical Characteristics:
Weight mixing ratio | Comp. A: 100 / Comp. B: 50 |
Theoretical density of the mixture | 1.1 |
Dry extract | 99.75 % |
Adhesion on concrete | > 65 kg/cm² |
Compression resistance | 400 kg/cm² |
Polymerisation after 24H | 37 shore D |
Polymerisation after 6 days | > 75 shore D |
Pot life on a 1500 g sample | Approx. 45 min |
Open time spread | 2 h |
Preparation mixing and Application:
- Ensure that surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, or grease.
- Mix the components for 2.5 to 3 minutes with an electric mixer (at a speed of 400 rpm). Allow the mixture to rest for 10 minutes to achieve optimal cross-linking. Then, perform a second coarse mixing to homogenise the whole.
Application:
- Semi-smooth coating: apply with a rubber squeegee
- Stone carpet: mix 6 to 8% of resin with the aggregates. Evenly distribute the mixture over the floor, then tighten and smooth with a trowel.
Application conditions and storage:
- Ambient temperature: 10°C to 35°C.
- Substrate temperature: 10°C to 25°C.
- Humidity level: must be less than or equal to 5% for concrete, and 8% for wood and agglomerates.
- Humidity: max. 75%.
- Storage: Keep in an intact package at an ambient temperature between 15°C and 25°C.
- Shelf life: 12 months.

PoxyRiver
PoxyRiver, transparent epoxy resin for making river tables and/or stone carpeting. Two-component epoxy resin used as interior stone carpeting or casting resin. Continuous, non-shrink, waterproof coating. Good resistance to wear, acid abrasion, UV.
Main uses:
- home
- office
- showroom
- river table
- casting into objects
Use in casting resin:
Mix 3.5 parts resin and 1.5 parts hardener for 2.5 to 3 minutes at a speed of 400 rpm with an electric agitator equipped with a helical paddle with a diameter about 2.5 times smaller than the diameter of the seal. Pour 1.5 to 2 cm of the mixture per layer. Wait 4 to 6 hours between each layer at a temperature of 20°C. Before casting, impregnate the wood with a brush. When making, place on polyane or plywood board. Theoretical density of the mixture: 1.11.
Use in stone carpets:
Mix the two components for 2.5 to 3 minutes at a speed of 400 rpm with an electric agitator equipped with a helical blade (right-hand pitch) with a diameter about 2.5 times smaller than the diameter of the seal. Leave the mixture to stand for 10 minutes, the maturing time necessary to obtain a perfectly cross-linked, resistant and aesthetically pleasing coating. After this time, a second, coarser mixing must be done to homogenise the whole. For the coating of a semi-smooth coloured quartz 0.4/0.8 coating, the application is done with a rubber squeegee. Consumption: 0.600 to 0.700 kg/m². For a stone carpet, mix 6 to 8% of the mixture, calculated according to the weight of the aggregates (marble or coloured quartz 3 to 5mm). Mix the resin and the aggregates with a mixer powerful enough to homogenise the whole. Spread the mixture evenly over the floor and then tighten and smooth with a trowel. Consumption: 0.600 to 0.700 kg/m².
