Product Description

Entropy Resins colourants are formulated from 98% biobased materials. This kit lets you add colour to your various projects, for art, moulding, jewellery, coatings, woodworking and more.

Included Colours

  • Eclipse (Translucent Black)
  • Whitecaps (Opaque White)
  • Berry Red (Translucent Red)
  • Celestial Blue (Translucent Blue)
  • Bumblebee (Translucent Yellow)
  • Clover Patch (Translucent Green)

Advantages

  • Biobased colourants for long-lasting, eco-friendly performance.
  • Our colourants are highly concentrated.
  • They are suitable for deep pours or thin coats.
  • They mix easily, without lumps.
  • They can be used to create translucent and opaque colours.
  • Translucent colours do not clump.

Good to Know

  • The colourants are compatible with most other epoxy resins on the market.
  • CCR epoxy is ideal for casting, and for applications under 3mm use CLR epoxy resin.

Instructions for Use

  1. Pour resin and hardener into a container in the ratio indicated on the back of the hardener.
  2. Mix the epoxy with a stirring stick (approx. 1 minute).
  3. Shake bottle before opening. Add the colourant to the epoxy, gradually adding small quantities to achieve the desired effect. We recommend a maximum charge of 5% by weight or volume.
  4. Mix again for 1 minute until the colour is well blended.
  5. Pour the epoxy onto your project, let it cure and enjoy!

How to Darken or Lighten Colours?

  • Darken colours: add a drop of Eclipse colour to soften or darken a colour that's too bright. Usually one drop is enough, but we recommend adding them one at a time to avoid exceeding the desired shade.
  • Lighten colours: add colourless epoxy to soften a strong colour.
  • Pastel colour: mix Whitecaps with other colours to obtain pastel colours.
