Product Description

Entropy Resins colourants are formulated from 98% biobased materials. This vivid colour kit lets you add colour to your various projects, for art, moulding, jewellery, coatings, woodworking and more.

Shades Included

  • Eclipse (Translucent Black)
  • Whitecaps (Opaque White)
  • Flamingo (Translucent Pink)
  • Island Sunset (Translucent Orange)
  • Sea Swell (Translucent Blue)
  • Alluring Orchid (Translucent Violet)

Advantages

  • These colourants are environmentally friendly and offer long-lasting performance.
  • The colourants are highly concentrated.
  • They are equally well suited to deep pours and thin coats.
  • They mix easily, without lumps.
  • They can be used to create both translucent and opaque shades.
  • Translucent colours don't clump.

Good to Know

  • Colourants are compatible with most other epoxy resins on the market.
  • For applications under 3mm, CLR epoxy resin is ideal, and for castings prefer CCR epoxy.

Instructions for Use

  1. Pour the resin and hardener into a mixing container according to the ratio indicated on the back of the hardener.
  2. Mix the epoxy with a stirring stick for about 1 minute.
  3. Shake the bottle before opening. Add the colourant to the epoxy, gradually adding small quantities to achieve the desired shade. We recommend a maximum charge of 5% by weight or volume.
  4. Stir again for 1 minute until the colour is homogeneous.
  5. Pour the epoxy onto your project and allow to cure!

How to Darken or Lighten Colours?

  • Darken colours: To soften or darken a colour that's too bright, add a drop of Eclipse colour. Usually one drop is enough, but we recommend adding them one at a time to avoid exceeding the desired hue.
  • Lighten colours: if the colour is very intense, add colourless epoxy resin.
  • Pastel colours: for pastel colours, mix Whitecaps with other colours.
