Product Description

The FFE-200 epoxy glue is a high-quality, lightweight, flexible two-component epoxy (resin and hardener) for bonding teak decks. It is used for leveling decks and the final bonding of teak panels and/or slats. Suitable for vacuum bonding of teak boat decks.

Consumption

7 to 10m² for the 7.6L kit.

Features

  • Very good adhesion
  • Medium viscosity for easy spreading and leveling
  • Resistant to shocks and torsion
  • Good curing even at low temperatures (down to 7°C)
  • Mixing ratio, 1 volume to 1 volume
  • Biscuit colour to match the wood colour

Application Instructions

The FFE-200 glue has a 1:1 ratio (one volume to one volume) by eye. Once the two components are mixed, you can immediately apply the epoxy to your surface. The adhesive has a density of 0.85kg when cured and its structure serves as a sound and thermal insulator. Its viscosity is formulated to be high enough to stay in place when applied to the deck but low enough to provide excellent bonding strength.

Coating and Curing

Apply one coat at an ambient temperature of around 25°C using a 4.8 mm notched squeegee. Open time of 60-70 minutes, the FFE-200 will cure in 4-6 hours and will be fully cured in 24 hours. Can cure down to 7°C.

Safety Information

Classified as non-hazardous, no shipping label required.

Additional Information

Consumption: 7 to 10m²/KG. Biscuit colour. Available in 7.6 KG. Sold in pocket format with their seals to facilitate mixing.
