Product Description
The epoxy resin 305 from Entropy Resins is designed for rapid compression moulding, optimising processes that use heat for fibre-reinforced composites.
This resin offers excellent fibre impregnation and has thixotropic characteristics that limit sagging in high-temperature polymerisation applications.
Thanks to its high modulus, the 305 resin is highly flexible, enabling the production of durable, lightweight composite parts.
Epoxy 305 is a biobased product and is BioPreferred certified by the USDA with a biobased content of 28%.
Available Hardeners
- CPS (Slow): Working time: 50 minutes at 25°C and offers complete polymerisation in 20 minutes at 82°C. Ideal for applications where great flexibility is required.
- CPF (Fast): Working time 20 minutes at 25°C and allows complete polymerisation in 15 minutes at 82°C. Perfect for projects requiring fast cycles.
Areas of Application
- Skateboards
- Snowboards
- Skis
- Press moulding composites
Key Benefits
- Environmentally friendly: Developed with Super Sap technology from renewable raw materials derived from co-products or waste from other industrial processes, Entropy Resins' 305 epoxy resin contains 28% biobased components, and is certified by the USDA Certified BioBased Product label.
- Low viscosity: Facilitates fibre impregnation and reduces sagging. Ensures even application.
- Thermal and mechanical resistance: Highly stable at elevated temperatures and resistant to mechanical stress.

Directions for Use
- Make the mixing ratio of the two components based on the recommended weights.
- Mix the product for at least 2 minutes, scraping all surfaces of the container to obtain a homogeneous blend.
- Work in a temperature-controlled environment to respect the product's optimum limits. Avoid using the product in environments with cold ambient temperatures or high humidity.
- Make sure surfaces are dry and free of dirt, debris and oil. Sanding is strongly recommended to improve adhesion.
- Carry out preliminary tests with the materials and processes under consideration to understand the curing characteristics of epoxy in your working environment.
Good to Know
During polymerisation, an amine film may form, with a sticky, waxy or oily appearance. This can reduce adhesion and make sanding more difficult. To remove it, you can use WEST SYSTEM's cleaner.
