Z TwistLock Brake Carabiner - PETZL

PETZL Z BRAKE is an automatic locking carabiner with a braking spur, designed for the caving descenders STOP (D009AA00) and SIMPLE (D004AA00).

It allows for additional braking or modulation during descent.

It facilitates the creation of a locking key.

Z BRAKE can be turned to make the descender unlosable during transfers from the gear holder to the semi-round carabiner.



Braking control:

• - spur allowing for additional braking during descent,
• - simple and modular use. The rope can be quickly passed or removed from the braking spur with one hand.

Facilitated handling:

• - facilitates the creation of a locking key,
• - Keylock system to prevent any accidental snagging of the carabiner,
• - automatic locking system TWISTLOCK for quick opening.

Can be turned to make the STOP or SIMPLE descender unlosable during transfers from the gear holder to the semi-round carabiner,

Compatible only with the caving descenders STOP (D009AA00) and SIMPLE

(D004AA00).
