Versatile, the Shunt Petzl also works in climbing, single rope sport climbing as well as in multi-pitch double rope routes.

Easy to use, it slides when you keep its lever pressed and locks as soon as you release it.

Effective regardless of the state of the rope (icy, muddy), the SHUNT blocker can serve as a secondary blocker when ascending on rope.
