The METEOR 6 PETZL helmet is the first CE certified ski touring helmet.
The optimal integration of a ski mask or visor makes it a stylish helmet, optimised for ski touring.
This helmet does not meet the requirements of the alpine skiing helmet standard EN 1077.


TECHNICAL FEATURES OF THE METEOR 6 HELMET:

  • In-Mold construction, with an EPS foam liner injected under a thin polycarbonate shell, promoting compactness on the head.
  • Large ventilation holes providing excellent ventilation for summer climbing and ski touring.
  • Neat finishes and a sleek design.
  • Designed according to Petzl's TOP AND SIDE PROTECTION label,
  • Covering design for optimal protection against lateral, front, and rear impacts.

Suitable for ski touring:

  • First CE certified ski touring helmet.
  • Optimal ventilation on the ascent, as well as on the descent. The helmet is easy to wear from the start to the end of the outing.
  • Designed for wearing a ski mask, thanks to the specific design at the front of the helmet.
  • Rear elastic compatible with ski mask straps and headlamps.
  • Semi-rigid headband for easy adjustment, even with gloves.
  • Two hooks at the front and an elastic at the back to secure a headlamp.
  • Compatible with VIZION and SKREEN visors.
