I'D Evac Descender - PETZL

The self-braking descender I'D Evac is primarily intended for evacuations at the anchor point.

Specifically designed for load handling at the anchor point, the ergonomic handle allows for comfortable descent control.

The integrated anti-panic function and the error indicator trigger limit the risk of accidents in case of misuse.

The Auto-Lock system allows the rope to be automatically locked without having to manipulate the handle or perform a stop knot. Once locked, the rope can be retrieved without having to manipulate the handle.

The locking ratchet allows the rope to be installed while keeping the device connected to the anchor. I'D Evac is compatible with ropes from 10 to 11.5 mm and allows for the handling of loads up to 250 kg.

Ease of use:

• Features a locking ratchet on the movable flange allowing for easy rope installation while keeping the device connected to the anchor,
• Easy rope setup, thanks to guiding and indicative markings,

• Ergonomic handle allowing for rope release and comfortable descent control. Two possible descent modes: on the flange or in the V-shaped braking groove. The handle is specifically designed for load handling at the anchor point,
• Anti-panic function that automatically stops the descent if the user pulls too hard on the handle,
• Auto-Lock system that allows the rope to be automatically locked without having to manipulate the handle or perform a stop knot. The automatic return of the handle limits the risk of unintentional snagging,
• Automatic transition of the handle to the storage position when the rope is removed from the device, which helps reduce the risk of unintentional snagging when the descender is worn on the harness.

Versatility of use:

• Once locked, the rope can be retrieved without having to manipulate the handle, making it possible to create a reversible hauling system,
• Screw allowing the locking of the movable flange to integrate the I'D EVAC into evacuation kits,
• Open additional brake allowing for increased braking depending on the load and rope diameter, and to install or release the rope at any time.

Reinforced protection, made of stainless steel in the rope friction area, increasing wear resistance.
