The self-braking descender I'D S is primarily intended for work at height and difficult access. It is equipped with an ergonomic handle that allows for comfortable control of the descent. The integrated anti-panic function and the error indicator trigger limit the risk of accidents in case of misuse. The Auto-Lock system allows for easy positioning at the work station, without having to manipulate the handle or perform a stop key. Once locked, the rope can be retracted without having to manipulate the handle. The locking ratchet allows for the installation of the rope while keeping the device connected to the harness. I'D S is compatible with ropes from 10 to 11.5 mm and allows for the handling of loads up to 250 kg.

- automatic transition of the handle to the storage position when the rope is removed from the device, which helps reduce the risk of unintentional snagging when the descender is worn on the harness.
Versatility of use:
- once locked, the rope can be retracted without having to manipulate the handle, allowing for a reversible pulley system or easily performing short ascents on rope,
- cam that can be manipulated to take slack easily or to secure a lead climber in climbing technique,
- screw that allows for locking the mobile flange to integrate the I'D S into rescue kits,
- possibility to add an additional brake, open or closed, for better control of the descent depending on the load and rope diameter.
