ASAP II Mobile Fall Arrester - PETZL

With its unique locking system, Petzl's ASAP mobile fall arrester is a benchmark in fall protection for workers at height.

In normal use, the device moves freely along the rope, without any manual intervention, to accompany the user in their movements.

In the event of a shock or sudden acceleration, the ASAP locks onto the rope and immobilises the user.

Depending on the use, the ASAP can also be paired with an energy absorber ASAP'SORBER or ASAP'SORBER AXESS to work at a distance from the rope.

• Permanent fall protection:
• Stops falls, slips, and uncontrolled descents.
• Works on vertical or angled rope.
• Locks onto the rope even if the device is grabbed during a fall.

Simple to use and effective:

• Moves along the rope up and down, without any manual intervention.
• Installs and uninstalls easily at any point on the rope.

Can be paired with an energy absorber to work at a distance from the rope: ASAP'SORBER or ASAP'SORBER AXESS. The latter allows use up to 250 kg in the context of a rescue for two people.

This product has been manufactured in accordance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/425 for PPE (category 3) following the standards:

• CE EN 12841 type A when used with an OK TRIACT-LOCK carabiner and an EN 1891 type A rope of 10 to 13 mm. An energy absorber ASAP'SORBER or ASAP'SORBER AXESS can be used as needed.

• CE EN 353-2 when used with an OK TRIACT-LOCK carabiner and an ASAP'AXIS 11 mm rope. An energy absorber ASAP'SORBER or ASAP'SORBER AXESS can be used as needed.

• EAC when used with an OK TRIACT-LOCK carabiner and an EN 1891 type A rope of 10 to 13 mm. An energy absorber ASAP'SORBER or ASAP'SORBER AXESS can be used as needed.

• ANSI Z359.15 when used with an energy absorber ASAP'SORBER or ASAP'SORBER AXESS, a Bm'D or OXAN TRIACT-LOCK carabiner (international version), a CAPTIV keeper, and a RAY 12 mm rope.
