Absorbica I 80 - PETZL

The Absorbica I lanyard at 80 cm, with a compact energy absorber, is designed for progression on a horizontal lifeline (rope or cable) or on a lifting platform, without any shock absorption.

It allows for multiple installations on the harness and can accommodate different types of connectors.

Absorbs energy in the event of a fall:

• Tearing of the energy absorber strap limiting the shock force experienced by the user,
• Works with users weighing between 50 and 130 kg,
• Progressive tearing, to limit the deceleration experienced by lighter weights.

Minimal bulk:

• Compact energy absorber to avoid hindering handling.

Durable fabric pouch, with an opening system at the ends, to protect the energy absorber from abrasion and splashes, while allowing for periodic inspection of the absorber.

Two installation options on the harness depending on use:

• Frequent connections/disconnections: with a carabiner held in the correct position by a String retention accessory (supplied with the lanyard),
• Nearly permanent connection: with an openable Ring Open which ensures optimal positioning due to its circular shape.

Two connector options at the end of the lanyard: carabiner or large opening connector MGO Open.
