GRIPPY Mooring Buoy

The GRIPPY mooring buoy is an essential accessory for boaters who want to secure their anchor and locate it easily.

It consists of two watertight chambers that house the electronic and mechanical components, designed to withstand salt and moisture.

It features a braided rope that automatically winds according to the water depth and connects to the anchor's shackle.

The length of the rope self-regulates based on the water height, ensuring that GRIPPY always floats in the vertical axis of the anchor, allowing for easy location.

The ABR version features revolutionary technology that prevents the line from slipping when GRIPPY exceeds 90° of tilt during anchor retrieval, allowing the mooring buoy to be retrieved directly using its line without the need for a gaff.

At night, GRIPPY automatically activates its solar-powered light beacons (LIGHT, HEAVY, and ABR versions).

In the event of a stuck anchor, it can be freed by retrieving the rope, which has a tensile strength of over 500 kg (BASIC and LIGHT) or 1200 kg (HEAVY and ABR).

During anchor retrieval, GRIPPY will automatically rewind the rope, positioning itself under the bow of the boat.

For added convenience, GRIPPY is equipped with a railing mount (LIGHT, HEAVY, and ABR versions) and a removable light beacon.
