The Okuma ITX Carbon spinning reels are designed for ultimate durability.
The long-stemmed, lightweight, and rigid C-40X carbon fibre present in the body, side plates, and rotor provides extra strength where it is most needed. The machined aluminium handle screws directly into the reel, ensuring maximum security and stability. The high-performance 7HPB + 1RB ball bearing system allows the reel to operate smoothly in freshwater and along the coast thanks to the precisely cut brass gear. The anodised machined aluminium spool is surrounded by Okuma's cyclonic flow rotor system, which increases airflow through the ported rotor, enhancing drying time and minimising corrosion throughout the spool. Inside the spool is the multi-disc carbon fibre drag system with a hydro-block plate preventing water from entering, ensuring your drag operates smoothly.
