Instructions for use:

Please prime your pump before its first use. Indeed, you must add water to the pre-filter of your pump when it is not filled with water. After restarting a pool in spring or installing a new pump, for example. (When it is full of water, the pump effectively primes itself.) The presence of water in the pre-filter allows for the lubrication of the mechanical seal, thus making the hydraulic and electrical parts of the pump watertight. In the absence of water in the pre-filter, the pump motor may overheat, potentially causing permanent damage to the pump.
