This pack includes:

  • 1 x GENIUS MARES Dive Computer
  • 1 x MARES LED TANK MODULE Transmitter
  • 1 x CRUISE DIVER MARES Bag

The GENIUS MARES computer is designed for "TEK" divers who use Trimix and Nitrox mixtures with multiple changes and wish to optimise decompression and dive times based on gas supply. The ability to vary decompression according to the gases actually used provides a significant safety advantage. The colour screen is clearly visible in all conditions, and the interface menu is intuitive and easy to use thanks to 4 large buttons.

The GENIUS MARES dive computer is a technological marvel, designed to offer you an optimal diving experience. It features a 2.8-inch TFT colour screen, allowing you to view all essential information about your dive, such as depth, time, temperature, pressure, mode, stop, battery level, etc. You can also customise the display according to your preferences, choosing from 4 dive modes (air, nitrox, trimix, and CCR) and over 1000 gas combinations. The GENIUS MARES dive computer is also equipped with an integrated digital compass, a dive planner, a dive log, an audible and visual alarm, a freediving mode, a depth gauge mode, a watch mode, and a compass mode.

The Genius dive computer allows you to manage both Trimix and Nitrox dives with gas changes. With the ability to receive data from 5 high-pressure probes, it enables integrated gas supply management, optimising bottom and decompression times based on remaining gas. The Genius computer uses the new ZH-L16C decompression algorithm with 16 tissues, with ascent speed differentiated according to altitude and the ability to modify the gradient factor to manage the shape of the decompression curve to your liking. Among the various adjustable parameters, there is also the option to select or omit deep stops to limit micro-bubble formation. Among the different menus, there is one with a bar graph, where all tissues are represented in order of half-time, allowing for immediate awareness of saturation levels.

The colour screen is made of scratch-resistant mineral glass, and the 4 buttons are easily accessible even with wet gloves. Featuring a backlight, a 2.7-inch diagonal, and protected by scratch-resistant mineral glass, it offers 3 horizontal zones for data display with the option to choose, on two bands, what should appear in the foreground. The resolution is QVGA 320 x 240 with 256,000 colours and a brightness of 420 cd/m2. The selectable modes are 2: Dive and Gauge - Bottom timer, making it ideal as a backup tool in all situations.

In Dive mode, the Mares Genius supports Trimix and Nitrox dives, with oxygen levels between 6% and 99%, and displays all necessary data for the dive, such as various depths (current, average, and maximum), time in minutes and seconds, temperature, and performs all decompression calculations.

During the dive, you can manage up to 5 different mixes from the menu to optimise decompression and bottom times.

The Genius computer is capable of recalculating decompression times underwater in case of issues with one or more tanks that involve not using certain gases or the need to revert to a previously used gas. The gas change mode is predictive, meaning that when the altitude for gas change approaches, the Mares Genius computer signals the possibility of a change.
