Product Description

GALVA MAT is a corrosion protection agent, delivered in aerosol form. It consists of additives, high purity zinc powder, and synthetic resins dispersed in solvents. It thus withstands 2500 hours in salt spray (according to the ASTM B117 test). Zinc acts through electrochemical protection while the synthetic resins form a physical barrier resistant to external aggressions. GALVA MAT exhibits remarkable adhesion on metal substrates thanks to the adhesion promoters incorporated in its formulation. Its anticorrosion properties are excellent due to the presence of zinc and complementary anticorrosion agents in the dry film. The latter withstands temperatures up to 350°C.
