Water Groups Par-max - Jabsco

The new range of Par-Max water pumps allows for a more efficient supply of fresh water and a more consistent flow rate.

New for 2021, these water pumps have replaced the plastic pump body with an aluminium casing = Providing greater rigidity, improved reliability, and an extended lifespan.

Membrane pumps designed for regular use:

Jabsco membrane pumps are positive displacement pumps with an alternating motion.

They do not have a rotating shaft seal, and are therefore technically seal-less; and most models do not have any metal parts in contact with the liquid.

This broadens their range of applications as they are compatible with many corrosive, hazardous, and non-lubricating liquids.

• The electric pumps also feature an optional automatic control and a bypass valve for better application compatibility.

• Self-priming: priming height of 2.4m, up to an impressive height of 8.5m.

• Dry operation: Membrane pumps can run dry for extended periods without damage, even when the liquid supply is exhausted.

How do they work?

1/ The membrane, pushed by the movement of a piston, creates a partial vacuum to self-prime the pump.

2/ The liquid is drawn into the pump chamber by the inlet valve, the vacuum created closing the outlet valve.

3/ The movement of the membrane pressurises the liquid, which closes the inlet valve and opens the outlet valve through which the liquid is expelled under pressure.

Specifications of the HD (Heavy Duty) models include:

- an integrated Pumpguard filter

- a new bypass allowing for longer operating periods while maintaining a constant pressure level.

- a new pressure switch for the HD3 and HD4 models

- an extended lifespan, up to twice that of older models.
