VC Offshore Hard Matrix Antifouling

APPLICATION AND USE
Preparation
VC Offshore
Wash with fresh water.
OTHER ANTIFOULINGS
Ensure good condition.
BARE POLYESTER
Use VC General Thinner to thoroughly clean and degrease the surface.
Lightly sand with 240 grit abrasive.
Perform a high-pressure wash with fresh water and allow to dry.
Use VC Tar2 as a primer or in an osmotic preventive system.
STEEL
Use VC Tar2 as a corrosion-resistant primer.
LEAD
Apply VC Tar2 as a primer coat.
WOOD
Apply Primocon.
Tips
Mixing
Mix well before use.
Pour the powder (contained in the plastic bag) into the container.
Mix well.
Once mixed, the product can be used for up to 7 days, provided it is sealed perfectly after use and mixed well before application.

A Few Important Points
The final colour will be achieved after immersion.
Ensure to apply the entire recommended quantity, even if it requires applying an additional coat.
To avoid any accelerated aging of the system, ensure that the applied quantities are respected, using the recommended coverage as a guide.
The product temperature should be between 5°C and 35°C.
The ambient temperature should be between 5°C and 35°C.
The substrate temperature should be at least 1°C above the dew point and less than or equal to 35°C.
Compatibility/Substrates
Gelcoated polyester, Wood, Steel/Iron, Lead.
Do not use on aluminium/light alloys or galvanized surfaces.
Suitable for polyester, wood, steel, and lead.
Can be directly applied over most antifoulings, provided they are in good condition, except for PTFE antifoulings.

Apply 2 coats of 30 microns dry for 12 months (total dry thickness of 60 microns)
By Spray Gun (Professional applicators only):
Apply 1 coat of 60 microns dry for 12 months (total dry thickness of 60 microns)
Apply an additional coat on areas subjected to higher abrasion such as rudder, leading edges.
