New 10.4’’ colour radar 4 kW with AIS, ARPA and ASN targets

With colour adjustment and full-screen mode, the 10.4’’ colour TFT LCD screen features a wide viewing angle, providing bright and vivid echoes with adjustable intensity across 16 levels for clear representation.

Thanks to the "BRIGHT" button, you can adjust the contrast and colour of the screen according to the ambient light intensity (daylight or night).

It is also possible to choose the colour of the echoes (orange, yellow, and green) to facilitate reading.

The full-screen mode allows for a very wide view of the echo image on the entire 10.4’’ screen by temporarily removing navigation data.

The automatic information masking function allows you to enlarge the radar echoes to full size to focus on a specific target.

Off-Centre Mode

The off-centre mode or OFF CENTER allows you to temporarily offset your boat's position from the radar screen with a simple press of the [OFF CENT] button to optimise the view of the area of interest.

Additionally, the zoom function allows for more precise focus on the area.

TLL Output Function

The MR-1010RII radar allows you to create your own waypoints with the TLL (Target Latitude Longitude) function to then send them as NMEA 0183 messages to other devices such as a chart plotter.

Connection to an External Screen

With the optional UX-252 video card, you can connect the MR1010RII radar to an external screen.

This way, for greater user comfort, you can simultaneously observe the same radar echoes on the main unit and on a remote screen.

Simplified ARPA Function with Echo Tracking

The MR-1010RII radar features a very user-friendly ARPA (Automatic Radar Plotting Aid) function that helps prevent any risk of collision with other boats or objects at sea.

Up to 10 targets can be monitored in manual mode.

In WATCH AREA mode, up to 5 targets can be automatically tracked.

By selecting one of the targets, you instantly view all the information about it in the lower part of the screen: position, heading, speed, CPA (Closest Point of Approach), TCPA (Time to Closest Point of Approach), etc.

When a target enters the CPA and TCPA limits, an alarm message appears on the screen accompanied by an audible signal.

AIS Function with Target Overlay

Up to 100 AIS targets can be overlaid on the radar echo when the MR-1010RII radar is connected to an external AIS device (compatible marine VHF, etc.).

By selecting an AIS target, you instantly view all the boat's information in the lower part of the screen: identification, name, MMSI number, heading, speed, destination, CPA, TCPA, etc.

The zoom mode available, particularly with the ARPA and AIS functions, allows you to track a moving target with more precision and instantly.

ASN Function

The MR-1010RII radar exclusively offers the ability to plot up to 20 ASN (Digital Selective Calling) messages on the echo.

This function requires connecting the radar to a compatible ASN radio.
