Hempel Hard Racing Antifouling Xtra Red 0.75L - Polyester, wood, laminated wood and steel

Hempel’s Hard Racing Xtra is a high-quality, hard antifouling that provides excellent protection and a smooth finish for motor yachts and fast sailing yachts throughout the season. Application: As antifouling for boats made of fibreglass, wood, plywood, and steel. Do not use on aluminium or other light alloy metals. Risk of corrosion on direct contact. For motorboats and regatta yachts. Good value for money. Good protection against fouling. Easy to apply.

Always ensure that all surfaces are clean, grease-free, and dry. Clean the surface with a
suitable cleaning agent and sand the surface with dry sandpaper.
Untreated surface: Treat prepared surface with HEMPEL LIGHT PRIMER 45551 and
apply a bonding coat of HEMPEL UNDERWATER PRIMER 26030 while the surface
is still tacky. Existing old self-polishing or traditional antifouling: Remove loose
material and contaminants by high-pressure cleaning with fresh water. Allow to dry. Existing
hard antifouling or an unknown antifouling: Clean under high pressure with fresh water, wet
sanding, remove dust. Clean and dry the surface. If the old antifouling is in poor condition,
apply 1 coat of HEMPEL UNDERWATER PRIMER 26030 as a sealant.
