GT21 transom or through-hull transducer - 2D/ClearVü - GARMIN
There are two types of GT 21 transducers:
- a transom transducer - 8 pins: GT21-TM
Transom transducer optimised for significant depths and challenging conditions.
It provides optimal rendering of underwater bottoms, submerged structures, and fish.
It offers a power of 500W in DownVü CHIRP mode (260/455kHz) and 600W in traditional 2D mode (50/200kHz).
- a through-hull transducer - 8 pins: GT21-TH
Through-hull transducer optimised for significant depths and challenging conditions.
It provides optimal rendering of underwater bottoms, submerged structures, and fish.
It offers a power of 500W in ClearVü CHIRP mode (260/455kHz) and 600W in traditional 2D mode (50/200kHz).
Suitable for any type of hull with an inclination of less than 5°.
2D CHIRP FUNCTION:
Sonar devices operating with 2D chirp allow for:
- better target definition
- more detailed target discrimination
- a clearer fish arch
CLEARVÜ CHIRP TECHNOLOGY
ClearVü™ technology provides a detailed image of the fishing environment around the boat and an accurate representation of structures beneath the boat.
Classic transducers emit a conical beam, while the Garmin ClearVü™ scanning sonar technology emits two narrow beams whose rounded shape allows for scanning the bottom: These beams thus provide a clearer image of the environment beneath the boat.
