How to choose the right washer for your screw?
To choose the right washer for a screw, you need to consider the diameter of the screw, the material of the washer, the type of washer, the load supported, and the applicable standards. The washer must be suitable for the diameter of the screw; otherwise, it will not be able to fulfill its role of protection and load distribution. The washer should be chosen based on the load supported by the screw. Washers are designed to distribute the load over a larger surface area, which can improve the strength of the fastening (the larger the washer, the greater the load it can support).

Material Information
Nylon 6.6
Polyamide PA 6.6 (commercial name "nylon"). Nylon 6.6 is 7 times lighter than steel, making it a wise choice for reducing weight or mass. It also has high thermal, mechanical, and chemical resistance, as well as excellent electrical insulation properties. Additionally, it can be easily recycled for chemical reuse or energy recovery. Finally, it is non-oxidizing, resistant to fresh water, seawater, and salt mist, which significantly reduces the risk of corrosion and seizing. Its maximum continuous use temperature is 120°C and -30°C minimum. The melting point is at 255°C.
