An ancestral practice in Japan, tenya fishing is a technique that allows you to catch all types of sparids such as gilt-head bream, pagrus, dentex, boarfish, and sar, etc.

Paired with a shrimp or a prawn, this lure/bait is incredibly effective!

Features

• Anti-reverse rod: A metal anti-reverse rod keeps the shrimp in place and prevents it from sliding on the shank during retrieval or in the presence of strong currents
• Main hook: reinforced and ultra-sharp, its shape perfectly matches that of the shrimp for a very natural presentation
• Assist hook: the round hook of the assist hook is a strong iron hook with a formidable sharpness. Small but very robust, its size perfectly fits the mouth of sparids. Planted in the head of the shrimp, it will strike at the slightest touch and leave no chance for the fish
• “Stand up” position: The specific flat part located underneath the tenya ensures that it always lands flat as soon as it touches the bottom without ever tipping to the side. Tilted at 45°, the hook is in a high position relative to the bottom, thus limiting the risk of snags. The natural presentation of the shrimp is optimal for hooking the most timid bites from sparids
